What a fun and genuinely happy day! That is really the best way to sum up Kelsie and Bryant's wedding. I had been looking forward to this wedding day for awhile now.. Kelsie and I went to high school together an cheered together on the cheerleading team. I think myself and all the other girls can easily agree that Kelsie had the best spirit and was probably the most "cheerful" gal on the whole team. When you see a cheerleader on the field and they are super smiley and happy.. you think, thats what their there to do right? Well Kelsie is that smiley and happy ALL the time! Especially on her wedding day! There wasn't a single time I had to ask her to smile.. she was just always smiling! To put it simply, our world would be a much better place if we had more Kelsie's.
This was probably one of our last beautiful fall days. The sky was so blue and it was perfect sweater weather with just a slight chill in the air. Kelsie and Bryant got married at the Sotterley Plantation in Hollywood, MD. Their ceremony site sat high on a cliff that overlooked the water with fall foliage in the distance. They said their vows under the most beautiful wooden arbor covered with flowers by Little Miss Lovely and Kelsie joyfully laughed down the aisle and through the whole ceremony. : )
Somehow Kelsie's cheerleading background snuck its way into the day on multiple occasions. Kelsie has been cheering her whole life and in College she cheered for University of Maryland. Not only did Kelsie and her bridesmaids surprise Bryant with a choreographed dance after dinner but Kelsie and her fellow college cheerleading bridesmaids decided to stunt during the reception! Yes, Kelsie was the flyer...in her wedding dress. (Id be lying if I said I didn't want to put my camera down and join in for old time sake!) There was even some impromptu stunting by the groomsmen during our formal photos and instead of toasting to take a shot together, these girls chanted "5,6,7,8!" followed by the shot! Its no surprise that cheerleading is a huge part of Kelsies life and I love how much it is intertwined in her everyday life and especially her wedding day.
Kelsie and Bryant, you two are head over heals in love and the perfect match for each other. It was so clear to see after spending the day with you both and I felt so lucky to have been a part of it! I wish you all the love and can't wait to see what the future hold for you two!
