Whenever I think of a laid back couple, I will always think of Danielle and Stephen. These two just go with the flow and made my job SO easy. I think I could have asked them to jump off the docks in their wedding attire and they would have done it! Ok maybe not, but I couldn’t have asked for a more fun, sweet, and care free couple to spend last weekend with!
When I arrived to Stephens aunts home, I was blown away with how stunning this property was. But when I walked in and saw Danielle and her bridesmaids, the first thing I thought was, this is one STUNNING wedding party! Seriously, these ladies were ALL gorgeous! Not only was I given the most amazing backdrop to spend this morning, I was also given 8 models! So I was pretty excited to say the least. : ) One of my favorite parts of the morning was when Danielle had a first look with her girls. I have been doing this more often and I just love this moment! No, you cant beat the emotions of a first look with your fiancé or father but there is something about the dramatic reactions of your girlfriends that I love! It never disappoints. I can only imagine what my reaction would be if one of my best friends walked out in her gown for the first time!
Once I arrived to the Ocean Pines Yacht Club, I found Stephen and his groomsmen doing exactly what I had hoped. Hanging out, cracking jokes, and drinking Orange Crush’s. Within about 30 seconds I knew I was going to love this crew and get some really fun shots. Because Stephen and his groomsmen were planning to arrive to the ceremony by boat, I got to hang out with them dockside before they took off.
Despite the high temperatures, Danielle and Stephen had the most beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the marina. Lets be real, it could have been 200 degrees and this bride and groom would have still looked incredible! The night went on to be one huge dance party (as all wedding reception should!) and I still cant stop thinking about how funny Stephens brothers speech was. I have listened to a lot of speeches and that one made me laugh out loud wth everyone!
Danielle and Stephen, thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be part of such an important day in your lives. You two have beautiful souls and I cant wait to see what the future brings to you as husband and wife. Also I am really hoping we can get Mowgli and Griffin together for a play date, I think we both know they would be best friends!!
